About Our Training
Our training programs go beyond basic obedience, focusing on understanding each dog's individual behaviors, motivations, instincts, and emotional needs. Specializing in behavior modification, we work with dogs experiencing challenges such as reactivity, fearfulness, anxiety, resource guarding, overexcitement, and difficulty regulating their responses to everyday situations. Using positive reinforcement, force-free techniques, and LIMA based principles, we focus on identifying the underlying causes of unwanted behaviors rather than simply suppressing them. Through individualized training plans, confidence building, appropriate enrichment, and practical skill development, we help dogs learn healthier ways to navigate their environment. Equally important, we educate guardians on canine communication, body language, and effective training techniques, providing them with the knowledge and tools to maintain progress beyond our sessions. Whether developing foundational manners, addressing complex behavioral challenges, or strengthening everyday communication, our goal is to create lasting improvements that support each dog's well-being and strengthen the relationship between dogs and their families.
LIMA - Positive Reinforcement - Human & Canine Education - Individualized - Relationship Focused
Initial Training Assessment $124
A 45-minute comprehensive assessment designed to understand your dog’s behavior, current skills, training history, and individual needs. We’ll discuss your concerns and goals, observe your dog, and identify training priorities. Following the assessment, you’ll receive detailed notes, professional recommendations, and the best next steps for you and your dog.
*An Initial Training Assessment is required before beginning any of our training services or programs.
Solo Training Session $100
Private Training Session $118
Hands on, one on one training where you and your dog learn together. Sessions focus on developing new skills, strengthening existing ones, addressing specific challenges, and helping you understand how to effectively communicate with your dog.
A large part of private training is guardian education. You'll learn how and when to reinforce behaviors, recognize what your dog is communicating, troubleshoot challenges, and confidently practice outside of sessions.
Dedicated one-on-one training designed to introduce new skills, strengthen existing ones, and provide additional focused practice with a professional trainer.
While guardians do not participate in the training session itself, they receive a full rundown of what was worked on, how their dog progressed, and how to continue practicing at home.
Training is a team effort. Solo sessions provide valuable professional practice, but guardians are still expected to consistently reinforce and practice these skills between sessions so they become reliable parts of everyday life.
Board & Train Program
Daycare + Boarding Add on +$65
Make the most of your dog’s stay by adding individualized training and extra practice to their daycare experience. Training is incorporated naturally throughout their day, allowing us to work on new or existing skills during dedicated practice as well as everyday routines, outings, transitions, and distractions.
This option is ideal for dogs who could benefit from additional professional practice and reinforcement while already in our care. Guardians receive an update on what was worked on and how to continue practicing at home.
*For dogs needing a more intensive, training-focused stay, our Board & Train program offers a separate, more structured option.
Our Board & Train program is designed for dogs who would benefit from a more intensive and consistent approach to training. Unlike a traditional boarding stay with training added, training is the primary focus of your dog’s time with us.
Each program is built around the individual dog and their goals, with multiple training opportunities throughout each day alongside structured exercise, enrichment, outings, socialization, and necessary rest. Skills are introduced, practiced, and gradually strengthened across different environments and real-life situations.
But training doesn’t end when your dog comes home. Guardians receive a detailed transition session covering what their dog has learned, how skills are being communicated, and how to continue reinforcing progress at home.
Board & Train gives us the opportunity to build a strong foundation but continued guardian involvement is essential to turning those new skills into lasting everyday habits.
